    　この物価高にはもっともっと怒っていただきたい。まさに「立てよ、国民」。私は皆さんにお伝えしたい。この悲しみ、この苦しみを怒りに変えて「立てよ、国民」。我々は自由民主党に比べれば戦力は少ないけれど、しかし、正義の戦いをしている。

    　僕がちっちゃい頃、ラジカセで「機動戦士ガンダム」を録音し、セリフを覚えた。（主要キャラクターの）ガルマが死んだ時、（兄の）ギレン総帥が追悼演説をした。その一節に「悲しみを怒りに変えて。立てよ、国民」っていうのがあった。皆さん、国民って言っても、立憲民主党ですからね。（26日、東京・秋葉原での街頭演説で）
