ＷＢはファースト放映当時は宇宙空母だの宇宙戦艦だの言っていた
それがいつのまにか強襲揚陸艦に統一された
多分一番専門用語っぽくてかっこよかったからだろうな

お前ら揚陸艦言ったら海岸とかに艦首を乗り上げさせて兵員吐き出す船のイメージだろ
最近は違うんで
沖合に留まって小舟を出産するだけでも揚陸艦だから要注意な

実際ホワイトベースはア・バオア・クーに強襲揚陸かけてるからまあ
座礁しただけとか言ってはいけない

狭義ではエアクッション揚陸艇などの上陸用舟艇とヘリや短距離/垂直離着陸機を運用して上陸支援が行える艦
広義にはヘリコプター揚陸等の航空揚陸だけの艦艇も強襲揚陸艦という
ガンペリーかGアーマー的な物でMSを揚陸すればOKだね

きちんと歩兵で拠点を制圧したのはSEEDぐらいか
後は敵兵が居なかったが逆襲のシャアでアクシズを歩兵で制圧したのとか
