ガンダムが持っているポッドのサイズはかなり設定に忠実だからサザビーに収まってるときに縮んでいると解釈するのが正しい
小さくなった玉にちっこいシャアが乗っている
そして脱出すると増えるワカメみたいに戻る

シャアのサイズを見ればコクピット自体はそれなりに大きな球体であるとわかる
でも周辺とコクピットの対比がおかしくていくらなんでも小さく描きすぎてる

    本来胸部にコクピットがある永野デザインのナイチンゲールで絵コンテを切って演出プランも立ててたのに作画作業に入る直前にスポンサーにひっくり返されて当時スポンサーと蜜月だった渕デザインをぶち込まれ制作現場が混乱した結果

    普通に考えて（最低）直径3mは必要だよね
    人間をMSとすると、バスケットボールくらいある
    つまり頭部に入れるなんて最初から無理
    リックディアスも球体が胴体にめり込んでて、上をお椀のように頭部が覆ってると解釈すべき
    （形状もそんな感じだしね、ただしディアスも球体がちっちゃく描かれた絵があるんだけどｗ）
