宇宙世紀は早い時期にマスドライバーが完成していたようなのでそれでバンバン上げてたのだろう
ちなみに連邦政府と宇宙引越公社は「まずお前らが宇宙に上がった後で地球に置いてきた財産を後で届けるね」とか抜かしてやがるので
初期は本当に移民速度が最優先で人間だけを棄民する社会かよぉ！してたっぽい

大気圏突入は地球と宇宙を分ける一種のイベントだしドラマティックに演出した方がそれっぽいのさ

キン肉マンとか惑星間を数時間で移動してるし大気圏突入とか無視してたな
(読み切りの結婚式前夜に仲間の超人達と夜通しプロレスして遅刻しそうになった)
なんとなくGガンダムのネオホンコン到着シーンち被ったので…

Vでもやってたようにシャトルをマスドライバーで磁気加速させて放り出して、衛星軌道上で待ってる輸送船みたいなのが回収、シャトルはそのまま降下して滑空でマスドライバー基地まで戻る。
時間はかかるが、これを繰り返せば少ない燃料で大量の物資を打ち上げられる。
いわゆるベルヌ砲の原理だけど、軌道エレベーターとかなければ原始的ながらこれが一番効率いいし。

開戦前には軌道エレベーターがあったとかにしとけば良かったのにな。
(無論開戦時に真っ先に破壊された)
軌道上にピストン輸送してコロンブス級の輸送船に移民ぎゅうぎゅうに詰めてコロニーに送る

かたっぱしから捕まえてシャトルに押し込んで
未完成のコロニーに送りつけるとかやっとったんかな。
荷物は飛行機で持ち込める程度とかそんなん。

逆にそれを建設する余力があるなら、現実の主要空港と同じ数だけマスドライバー建設したほうが早いし安上がり。
10万kmの建造物とか、大事業すぎてコロニー作ってる余裕すらなくなる。しかもそれを複数用意して、釣り合わせるためにリングで繋いで、内部にリニアモーターカー通して、それをダイヤグラムで管理して・・・なんてやるのは大変。
GレコのナットはIフィールド技術によるミノフスキークラフトの産物やしな。
