推進剤やら核融合炉やらへの影響のほうが怖いので、わざとコックピット回りに流してるのかもしれん。
MSは片足で着地する場合とかあって接地面積が小さくなったりするし、宇宙じゃそもそも何もないので、常に地面に逃がせるとも限らないから。

ぶっちゃけＭＳは感電対策してるからまず壊れないがパイロットは感電死する。が、それもノーマルスーツや対電処理をしておけば問題ない

などと書いてみましたがノーマルスーツを来てないアマちゃんはどうして無事なんです？

ＭＳよりパイロットを直接狙うタイプの武器だから。でも対策バッチリな一年戦争だと基本動きが麻痺する程度で死ぬ事は無い。08は知らん

しかしＺや逆シャアの時代になると出力も強化されているので、エマさんやアムロが危うく死にかけたぐらいには危険な武器になってる

まあ普通に電極打ち込んで或いは巻いて、それから電流を流す暇があるなら、普通に砲弾・指向性兵器打ち込めって話。
加えて台地をアースと押して使える地上なら兎も角、空中・宇宙空間で電線一本でどうやって電流を流すのかも謎。
