まあまあ序盤からニュータイプの単語は出てるし演出は抑え目だけどアムロ以外でもミライさんセイラさん辺りは早い段階でニュータイプ的な言動がある

そもそもニュータイプ同士で分かりあってることなんて劇中で無いしな。
ほぼすれ違ってる。
アムロとララァのやり取り見ても全然噛み合ってない。
死の瞬間に、もうそれでええわ・・・って片方が折れるような感じになるだけで、分かりあってる訳では無いんよ。

それありきで作っているのに無くてもいいは本末転倒な気が…
ガンダムという作品のテーマを考えたときに連邦とジオンの戦争ものだとするといらないという結論に達するのかもしれない
しかしこれが人と人のコミュニケーション、分かり合えることをテーマとして捉えると必要になってくる
これは捉え方によるのでは？
あと0083とかは外伝だから出来た話であってこれを基準にするのは違うように思う

ニュータイプについてお禿様の考えを勘違いしているのが多いんでとりあえずちゃんと纏めると

1:当初から素人の少年がいきなりMSを動かせる理由として朧気ながら考えていた
2:話が進む内に段々内容が固まり出し、「凄い事を考えた」と自画自讃するほどお禿様の中で確固たるものになる
3:後年、ニュータイプを中心テーマに添えるのは失敗だったと後悔する

ぶっちゃけ、ただのエスパー設定だったんだけどそんな安易な名称を嫌ったお禿様が別の言い方にしようとし、色々考えた末に人類の革新という一大テーマまで発展させてしまったのがニュータイプというもの

確かにニュータイプ要素は無くてもガンダム的なものは作れる
でも、それは「今だから」言えることだよ
「戦争（リアリティ）」＋「ロボットアニメ（SF）」＋「ニュータイプ（オカルト）」
この３つがあったからこそ「めぐりあい」のテーマが昇華できた

あと、時代背景的に７０年代中期～８０年初頭というのは
リアリティとSFとオカルトの３大要素はエンタメにとって重要なファクターだった
それが全部あったからファーストガンダムは名作になりえたんだよ
（スターウォーズがその道を切り開いてくれたからなんだけどね）
その他の物はそこを起点としたバリエーションだから
別にオカルト抜きでも成立する

ファーストガンダムは、その後の物を自由に創作できる「大枠」を作ったんだよ
