アクトザクも後々マラサイのビームライフルに使われる性能のビームライフル使ってるし
ビーム技術自体は別に遅れてないぞ
ただただ配備が間に合わなかっただけ

中に動力炉が仕込んであるってことは
これを標準装備にするとMSと武器で動力炉が倍必要になるってことで

このビームバズーカの最大の利点は
本体出力でビーム撃てない機体でも運用出来るところ
逆にほぼ全部の機体がビーム打てるようになったら無用の長物に…

ゲーム（IF設定込み）やプラモなどでしか存在しない武器なので建造された設定なのかどうかがあやふや
見た目通り威力はあるようだが多数配備されないだけの不便さも持っていたようだ
ということにしないとIF設定でも辻褄が合わないのでそういう設定になってる
単にデカくてそこそこのビームならムサイにもついてるので難しくはなかろうね

ビーム収束できない技術力不足の武器だったのが設定整理しているうちに色々変わってしまってして
ビームバズーカの設定を知った時期ごとに各自の認識がずれている感じか

勘違いしてる人が多いけどビームバズーカはビームの小型化が難しいから一旦開き直って｢より大型で高火力な武器作ったろ！｣のノリで出来た武器だから火力だけならビームライフルより上なんよ
小型化が苦手なだけで元々ジオンは高火力ビーム兵器の開発自体は十八番だったんだから

ビームライフルの時点で戦艦が墜とせる程の過剰火力だからな

宇宙だと唯でさえジムの方が運動性上なのにデカくて重くて取り回しの悪い武器なんて使ったら益々不利になる
