『コロニー落とし』を実際にできるワケがない！　『スペースコロニー』自体は中が空洞なので、大気圏との摩擦熱でバラバラになりますよ。そう考えるようになって、今となっては(アニメで『コロニー落とし』を)やったことを後悔している。

昔は今みたいな完全に電子機器に依存した生活になると思えんかっただろうし単純な質量兵器って考えしか出なかったんだろうなと思うと面白い
今は世界に大打撃与えるにはどうするか？
って話だと電子機器を制御不能にするか海流を利用するやらそういうの多い印象

1気圧に耐えりゃいいだけだから、宇宙建築物はどんなに巨大でも地上より壁薄くていいのよね。
コロニーも薄壁でスカスカやろ。
そうじゃなきゃルナツーやフィフスだけの資源だけじゃあんだけのコロニー量産できん。
熱で溶解以前に、大気の壁でバラバラになると思う。本当なら。
だから富野のアベニールのほうのサイドコロニーは脆弱設定。

あれだけ巨大だとデブリ対策で少なくとも最外殻には地上の構造物では想定する必要のないくらい頑強な装甲を備えてないといけないんじゃないかな
あと気圧で膨らむ力以外にも遠心力やその他超巨大な構造にかかる色んな応力とかにも耐えないといけないわけで、風船じゃないんだからさすがに気圧しか想定しないのは論外だろ
まあ、放射線に関してはあんだけ薄いノーマルスーツでなんとかなる技術があるようだから外殻を厚くしなくてもなんとかなるだろうけど

「40年前の知識で作ったアニメの嘘」を今の時代にリアルだとか考えんなもっと知識をつけろ、ってのをソフトに言っただけでしょ
現在は円筒形コロニーには懐疑的、全部オニールの著書に載ってた、とも言ってるし
ぶっちゃけナラティブにキレてたのと同じことよ

デブリ対策や宇宙線遮断のためにスラグ層まで含めると20mや30mくらいの厚さだったはず>外壁
加えて落とすコロニーには事前に落とす勢力に手で耐熱コーティングが施される
宇宙世紀の優れた突入用耐熱コーティングならかなり保つだろうし燃え尽きないでしょ

確かに外壁はアルミ缶のように貧弱で粉々だけど
中に敷いてある厚さ２mの大量の土がばらまかれたまま重力圏ギリギリを
落ちることなく数年間漂い続け太陽光線を遮るから
むしろ人類滅亡はほぼ確実。
ましてやガンダムXみたいに狂った落とし方ならなおさら

コロニーのは
ZZではガルスJとZガンダムが落とし穴に落ちた時はペラペラだったけど
マシュマー達がお墓を作った時はかなり深い穴を掘ってて
同じコロニーなのか疑問だ

瓦解はするかも知れないけど燃え尽きるって事は無いよ。

コロニーに敷いてある厚さ２ｍの土というのは映画版のパンフに書いてあった
オニール博士の島３号計画での話でスペースコロニーの住民を足下からの宇宙線から
守るのに必要な土の厚さが２ｍということ。小説版ガンダムではその計画の３倍サイズの
コロニーが建設されているらしい。土は月面にある酸化鉄を運ぶとか何とかどこかで聞いた

現在の科学的見識で考えるとコロニー落としに劇中ほどの威力はないというのは正しいのだろうけど
だったら何故劇中あれほどの被害が出たのかを考えるのがガンダムを楽しむファンの嗜みだろうし、富野御大そこを考えさせる必要はない
確かに円筒型コロニーを造るには、内部の大気が風船の様にパンパンに張り詰めて構造材の代わりになるから外壁自体は薄くても構わないという話もある
ただデブリや隕石などによる破損を考慮したり人が生活する上でのインフラ類を考えると大分厚い構造にしていても矛盾はない
ジオンが各コロニーの設計情報を入手してより外壁が厚く強度の高いコロニーを選出しさらに質量弾として強固となる様の補強をしていたと考えることも出来る
科学的に矛盾するからダメだと言って作品をバカにするなんちゃら読本の著者のようなスタンスは避けたいものだ

そもそもあの形のスペースコロニー自体が実現不可能だと
柳田理科雄の本で書かれていたと思ったが。
ガラスなんかも完全透明なわけじゃないのであの厚みになると
もう太陽光を通さないらしいな。つまりサイド3のような密閉型しかない。
それに企画書ではコロニーは40数基落とされたとある。
一回当たりの被害は軽微でも40回も落とされそのたび住人が皆殺しになってたら
かなりの人的被害も出てるよな。まあその都度シーマがガス注入してたのかは知らんが
劇中だとコロニー落としはイフィッシュの一回こっきりでジャブローの的を外したんで
二度目のためにルウムのコロニーを狙ってルウム戦役が勃発って流れのようだが

ZZのコロニー落下の方が・・・というけど、そもそも中身が空洞のコロニーが
大気圏突入でバラバラに分解しない方がおかしいのだから、
地面に突き刺さって屹立してるなんてのは問題外だろう。
