わからん…ただ2号機はロールアウトカラー時に既に78-2だったから1号機のルナツーでの実験後78-2の仕様が定まった時に3号機と2号機が入れ替わってるのかも

何がどうプロトタイプなのか分かんない
オリジンのあれこれ盛り込んでみたらバランス悪くなったとかならまだ分かるけど

まぁ元のモデルはコレ
MSVの企画でガンダムが居ないのは不味かろう＆旧キットガンダムの焼き直しが出来るようにしよう
的な意図で作られただけだけの存在だからスリット云々とか深く考えなくていいよ

関節曲がらないわ、コアブロック剥き出しだわで出来が悪く
なかなか作る気しなかった初期の100分の1ガンダムを
このカラーにしたわ

いや、そこは悩まず普通に受け止めろよ
設定的にも、準備稿だったんだから、ある意味プロトタイプで間違ってないだろ
デザイン的な違いがあった方が見た目にわかりやすいだろ？
むしろ準備稿が商品になった珍しい例なんだから、そういうものだと受け止めろ
ここでアナザーであるオリジンのプロトは引き合いに出す方がおかしい

没った初期稿なんだから本当の意味でのプロトだわな。
商品としてのMSVと考えるとアッグシリーズなんかと同じ出自。
当初は白一色にするつもりだったからアクセントとして
やや面取りを複雑にしてたのかも知れんが
ライフルなんかはずいぶん思い切って変えたもんだね。
キャノンと共通のデザインラインだし安彦の描いた物なのかな
