連邦軍が政治に介入しだしてティターンズっていう特権階級名乗る軍内勢力ができて虐殺・テロ紛いをやりだしたからこのままじゃイカンてエゥーゴって勢力でティターンズを潰すなり軍と政治を切り離すなりしたかった。だからティターンズが潰れたZZ時点でもうエゥーゴは存在意義がないので自然消滅

が大雑把な成り行きだっけ？まぁティターンズ無きゃエゥーゴが存在する意味もないでしょ

まずティターンズは連邦が立ち上げた反乱鎮圧のエリート集団、ところがコイツらがとことん腐ってクソ。
そして連邦軍人のブレックスが離反して独自の反ティターンズ組織を結成。これがエゥーゴ。
ブレックスは連邦軍人だがエゥーゴは連邦としては非正規の組織なのでクワトロ、カミーユは連邦公認の軍人ではなく階級もエゥーゴ内のみで有効。
Zでティターンズ破れてZZでエゥーゴが正式に連邦公認の組織となる。ティターンズは解体されるが一部の納得いかない連中が連邦そのものに反乱起こしたり挙げ句残党となってジオンの残党に加えて貰ったり。

ティターンズ→シロッコの合流からのジャミトフ暗殺によるティターンズの実権掌握
エゥーゴ→ブレックス暗殺によってシャアが実質リーダー的存在に
ネオジオン→漁夫の利を狙うハマーンによるミネバを旗印にしたネオジオンの台頭

組織で見るとわかりにくいかもしれないけど、
実質「シロッコ」「ハマーン」「シャア」のニュータイプ3人による私的紛争
一判たちが悪いのは、リーダーをやれと言われたのにそれを全うできず
何の責任も取ろうとしなかったシャア
それに巻き込まれ限界を超えて戦い、精神崩壊した少年カミーユの物語
「Z」ってそんな感じの話

そんな風に解釈すればいいだけ
物語開始時点ではタカ派のティターンズが幅を利かせている状態だから
弱小とは言わないまでも少数派であるエウーゴにとって
カラバは地上での活動を支援してくれる仲間ってところ
