違うぞ。
エゥーゴ（連邦内レジスタンス）とティターンズ（極右保守派）の対立。

なお、物語の序盤は、対立と呼べないほどにエゥーゴは劣弱だった。

TV版のZの最終回時点ではどこが勝ったと言う考え方は違うと思う。ZZに続くし。
負けたということであればティターンズと言う話はその通りだと思うが。
強いて勝ったと言うなら状況的にアクシズだとおもうけど
　エゥーゴ：ラーディッシュやMS、カミーユ等の主力メンバーを失い満身創痍
　ティターンズ：コロニーレーザーで艦隊壊滅、頭目のシロッコ死亡でティターンズ消滅
　アクシズ：戦力を温存してグリプス戦役後、地球圏で台頭

エゥーゴはティターンズ奪われた利権を高官達が取り戻したいだけでブレックス准将以外スペースノイドの地位向上なんて考えてない、自分の事しか考えてない腐敗したいつもの連邦政府と変わらん
まぁ革命で旧政権倒しても民の生活は変わらん、むしろ悪化するなんてよくある事（フランス革命とかもそんな感じだしな）

元々のZZの構想ではアクシズに帰還したシャアがハマーンを殺害してネオジオンを掌握し、シャアとジュドーのNT新旧対決になる予定だった
しかし企画の段階で劇場版の制作が決定、アムロとシャアの決着が描かれることになり、シャアの役どころにグレミーという新キャラがあてがわれることになった
OPにシャアが出てくるのはその名残…らしい
