「狙撃や砲撃"しか"しなくていい」ならともかく「その後の戦闘」があるわけで…ジムスナもマシンガンやサーベル装備してるし
その後隠れてたザクとかが襲ってきて接近戦になったら戦車や自走砲しゃ戦えん

まあ射撃ポイントを確保するためには不整地走破性は重要だから足があった方がいいね
飛べばいい？そうしたら見つかりやすくなるだろ
もともと十何メーターもあるんだからどうせ目立つだろうって？うるさいわね足があった方がカッコイイからだよ！

陸ガンの運用終わるまでは陸ガンのパーツ供給用に少数生産されるだろうけど

1年戦争中の狙撃機は結構有能なイメージあるな。スカーレット隊のジム砂Ⅱは
コロニー内で高火力武器使えなかったとは言えゲルググにも勝てる性能なのに酷かった

MGの08ジムスナ
本家陸ジムがキット化されてから時間が経ってたせいで
同時期に発売されたMGのキットと比べかなり見劣りしてて
膝立て撃ちすら不可能だったのは残念

いまだにもって、何故買ったのか自分にも他人にも説明できない
対して格好良くもないし待望だったわけでもない

陸戦型ジム狙撃仕様とかじゃダメだったのか…？

陸戦型ジムは一応ガンダリウム使ってるし陸戦型ガンダムと同規格のビームライフルも使えるから陸戦の性能だけならジムより圧倒的に強いはず
ただ陸ガンの簡易生産型なだけで量産機じゃないからコストはジムより高いしそもそも運用されてた時点じゃ量産は難しかった

て言うかスナイパーカスタムからして狙撃用のスナイパーのことではないというのがややこしい。
アメフト用語のスナイパーから来てるというが、アメフトにはそんなのないという事実(ラグビーと勘違いしてたらしい)

ジムスナイパーカスタムのスナイパーは実は狙撃手の意味ではなくアメフトのスナイパー(現実にはアメフトには存在しない。ラグビーと勘違いしたと思われる)というポジションのこと。
ガードカスタム、インターセプトカスタムとの連携運用前提で設定されたんだけど、それを全く生かせてない死に設定。
