顔をザク顔にすることでこいつがやられメカねと視聴者の理解を手助けするいい塩梅のデザイン

デザインは好きだけどこいつの設定は大嫌い
百歩譲ってティターンズが使うのは目を瞑るとして、せめて性能関係だけでも整理しろよ
ビームを併用できないのにジム2より性能上とか、そもそもザクを参考にガンダムとジム作ったのにザクに連邦の技術を融合させると性能の良い機体が出来ましたとかおかしいだろ

ザクマシンガン使わせたければビームも使えるけどガンダリウム製の敵が居ないから実弾の方が有効だったとか、戦後大量に余ったザクを連邦が改修したらジム2より性能良くなったとかでもう少し考えれば筋も通った筈なんだよ

こいつ自体は嫌いではないけど、低年齢層の混乱を招く一因となったのは確かだよね。
エウーゴ＝ガンダム＋モノアイ、ティターズ＝バイザーといった感じで陣営毎にデザインを統一していれば良かったのに。

小学校低学年でファーストを見ていた層は既に中学生になっていた頃なので、問題はなかったはず。
当時は今と違って気軽にファーストを見直すとかできる時代ではなかったから、Z放映時にファーストから入ってくる小学生はまずいなかったと考えられるし。
まあ、これに関しては富野さんがデザインによる陣営分けまで考えていなかったのと、バンダイの要望で新型を次々と登場させなければならなかったという事情はあっただろうけど。

子供の頃の初ガンダムがΖだったんだが、一応デザイン的には混乱はしてなかった

寧ろ大人になってから場当たり的開発系統に気付いてイライラさせられた

全ガンダムシリーズでもここまで開発系統が無茶苦茶なのΖだけだろ

ハイザックが連邦所属の機体ということ自体に当時混乱はなかった
低年齢層に優しくなかったのはティターンズやエゥーゴの位置づけ
ティターンズもエゥーゴも連邦の一角でありながら
連邦の意向と一致してないとか反連邦というのが混乱の元だった
さらにそのティターンズをシロッコが引っ掻き回して
ヤザンと組んだりドゴスギアの指揮しちゃったり
ジェリドもあっち行ったりこっち来たりと落ち着かないしな

Z初期のデザインて1stに出てきたMSがパワーアップしましたというのが非常に分かりやすくていい
プラモだと主張の強いパイプで若干微妙な出来、そのおかげでアイザックも微妙になるというおまけつき

これと装備互換出来るマラサイも初めはエゥーゴで使う設定だった考えたら尚更エゥーゴにしとけとなる
ザクというかジオン系をとにかく悪者にしなきゃならんかったようだが
そのせいで設定の辻褄も何もない本当に訳の分からん事になってる

これでもまあ我慢はできるけど、やっぱり陣営ごとの差別化をした方が良かった

乙の初期デザインは揃って秀逸。
Mk2もディアスもマラサイも、コレもそう。
1stの意匠を正しく継承した上で後に続くデザインラインを確立してしまってる。
