関節の細部描写に凝ったところでアニメ作品自体が面白くなるわけでもない
メカの動きの演出の一部として見た目の面白さを若干演出できるかどうかってレベルだからな
大昔のエルガイムなんかで足がパカパカひらくのなんかちょっと面白くはあったけど、せいぜいああいうレベルでしか使えない部分だ

種のストライクを始めとする初期GATやGジェネのシクスードでお馴染みの片桐圭一郎が一軸関節至上主義だったな

機械は可動部やパーツ点数を極力減らして故障のリスクを下げるのがセオリーだと肘も膝も一軸を好んで使ってたり
ストライクの特徴的なフレームに関しても「細かい凹ディテールは×、負荷が集中して折れてしまうので」とフレームスケッチのト書きに書いてたりと
あらゆる面で本業が工業製品デザイナーらしい拘りを見せていた

一軸にしようが元々大量に関節がある人型だもんなぁ
そんなケチくさいことするより素直に二重関節でもいいと思うんだけど

人型の時点で色々なハードルがかなり高いんだから
それを実現してる前提なんだからわざわざ一軸とかしなくても技術やら物資やら余裕じゃねっていう

海老川、柳瀬、河森とかのデザインのプロが言ってるなら「参考になるなぁ〜」と思うけど、現実のアームロボ設計してるプロが言ってるなら「あんたの戦場はここじゃない」って感じ。

装甲に不自然にスリットとかモールド入れまくるのに違和感あるのは同意だけど

ロボット工学のプロさんの発言としてはそのへんは重要ってことでせう
　
まあ単純で枯れた技術ほどメンテも簡単だし戦時でもパーツ供給とか維持しやすいから
どんなに技術が向上しても単純化できるところはするほうがいいんだよね

生産ラインを減らすという意味で手足ほぼ共用
足はフトモモか足首に衝撃吸収ダンパーを追加
現場でニコイチ　サンコイチ　磨耗による負荷の軽減のため手足の入れ替え等ができるようにブロック化
こんな感じなのが一番いいと思っている

というか、所詮現代水準の知識で未来のロボット工学を語るのはいかにプロであろうとも、考察遊びレベルでしかない。
まあ、その事を本人もわかってるからこそ、『正誤』ではなく『好き嫌い』で分けてるのだろうな。

リアルさを追求すると結局素材と動力関係と強度計算ソフトに行き着くので、世間に溢れるロボットはリアルなものも含めて殆どがエンタメ。

親戚に車の部材の素材と設計を行ってる人間が居て色々聞くが、絵描きがこの分野で鋭く斬り込めるのは用途設計だけ。

わがままな型を作って技術屋がやってやろうじゃ無いかと実現する方がリアル。

原付や車で修理の時に見た事ある人も居るだろうが二つのモナカ構造をボルトじめした部品でも、補強構造の橋みたいなのがあり、あれは全てかなりの処理能力を持ったコンピュータで予測提案されている。

将来ガンダムみたいなのを実際使う日が来るとしたら整備エンジニアと設計は全然イメージと違う物になる。

ちなみにカトキハジメデザインのマウスは
説明書の開設でしてる自画自賛ほどに使心地いいいもんじゃなかった。

メカデザインと工業デザインは違うんだなと肌で実感した

同時に出た史郎正宗デザインのマウスはそこそこ手に馴染んだ

そもそも良いか悪いかは「デザインの意図」＝目的によるとしか
アニメで動かしまくるなら変に凝るより左の方がいい場合だってある
目的に沿っていないデザインはデザイナーの独り善がりだし
趣味のお絵描きならそれこそ好きに描けばいいし

工学的にどうなのかは知らんし興味もないけど、好みで言えば真ん中はなんというか方向性が陳腐に思えるなぁ
右は(あくまで静止画としてだけど)単純に情報量多いから見応えがあってすき

やっぱ俺も満遍なくディティールみたいなのはくどく感じるなぁ

タツノコメカ（逆転王）とかが変にリアルすぎても嫌だろ？
仕事の状況を鑑みてデザインが出来る人は結局「仕事のできる人」
デザインってのは「仕事」なんだよ
例えば真ん中のデザインだって、関節の一部でしかないけど
「ここから派生したデザインをやってください」なんて仕事は山のようにあるし、
トータルデザインとして成立されば面白いものが出来上がるかもしれない
面白い、いいデザインをできる人がデザイナーになれるんだよ
理屈やリアリティなんてのは、むしろその補助要素でしかない
「こうじゃなきゃいけない」っていうのは頭の固いバカがはまりがちな落とし穴
アートじゃないんだよ
