エウティタで通常射撃の中に適度に背中向けてピストル使うことで半永久的に弾切れなしで戦えて楽しかった

残弾数が余裕ある上にそこそこ曲がってくれるから

放映開始時くらいに永野氏がイラスト化したように腕に二丁並べて装着(ユニコーンのビームガトリングみたいな配置)すれば良いのに。
あの使い方、あんまり普及してないよね。

ピストルのわりにデカいし、サイズのわりに名前通りの威力だし、配置場所が取り出しにくそうだし

Z時代のMSはビームに有効な対策が大型化してしまうとかいろいろ未発達だから
いっそ装甲削って速度に回して避けましょうって感じなので（ティターンズは基本的にモブでもベテラン揃いってのもある）
ビーム兵器に必要なのは火力ではないはず
ん？百式がビームコーティング装甲だから当時に対策技術はあるって？後付け設定なんてしらんがな

なんらかの制限が機体にあるのでは？
メイン武装はクレイバズーカなのも
ジムⅡ・ネモのビームライフルから百式のビームライフル
リックディアスに専用ビームライフルが開発されなかたし
ジムⅡのビームライフルは不採用に

アニメの威力描写って「効かない」「ちょっと効いた(怯み)」「だいぶ効いた(部位欠損)」「めっちゃ効いた(貫通・大爆発)」程度が限界だから、ライフル標準のガンダム世界でピストルの立場ってすごい難しいよね
スプレーガンなんかにも同じことが言えるけど

バレル持って引っこ抜いてグリップに持ち変える方法が不安すぎる。
ステイメンのサポートアーム応用してもう少し上手くやれなかったのかと。

クレイバズーカもそうだけど、エゥーゴ初期のゲリラ的活動を意識した装備なんだろうなぁ。
だから後半は百式のビームライフルとかシュツルムバインダー装備とかにしてほしかった。

本体からエネルギーチャージできるらしいけど、それが生かされたシーンがなかった・・・・orz
百式のビームライフルは後付けだけどエコールでアスナ機が装備していたはずで、ますますビームピストルの立場が・・・・。
当時は最初の2話を観てもっといろいろ期待したんだけどなぁ。１クールを過ぎるあたりになると完全に可変MSに敵わなくなって、アムロが乗った時も結構やられていてコレジャナイ感があった。

バトオペにおいてはディアスのピストルは便利な追撃武器、メタスのビームガンは下手なビームライフルよりクソ強い恐ろしいやつ……。
