        ジオン出資の戦前から航空輸送会社が使っていた超大型貨物機の転用…とかだと多少は期間的問題緩和できるかと。

        でかい荷物運べるってだけで、An-225が重宝されてるしね。

        キュイは本来は宇宙用で、キャタピラではなくスラスターがついていたらしい
        今で言うゾディアックボートみたいに、他の艦船へ乗り込む臨検部隊や
        軍事拠点へ急襲をかける特殊部隊が母艦からの移動に使っていた感じかな？

        陸上用の兵員輸送車としては奇妙な設計なのはそのせいだとか
        (普通のトラックでよさそうなものだが、わざわざ改造転用した理由は謎)

        生産（ジオンシンパの国なり企業）して秘匿していたってことにするしかないのでは？
        ＨＬＶに小分けにして降下の後現地組み立ては

        オリジン地上波ラスト(劇場OVA版は憶えてない)に、後の戦歴や配属紹介される人物カットに挟まって大気圏突入してるシーンなかった？…あの図体でって考えると狂気だけど投入された時期、制圧圏の広さだとこれしかない気もする

        実物での飛行実験は出来てないだろうね
        コンピュータシミュレーションは現実の21世紀よりかなり高い精度で出来るだろうけど

        というかそもそも航空機のノウハウ自体が無かったのでジオンの空飛ぶ乗り物は殆どが推力まかせだ。
        （例外はルッグンくらい）

        《ガウ攻撃空母》はキャルフォルニアベースで開発された機体です。
        元は連邦軍の大型輸送機で、これをMS運用機に改修したのはガルマさんのお手柄でしょう。
