        画面だと初速遅いし、低弾速低威力なのを弾頭口径をあげて威力のなさをカバーしてる武器と思われる。
        対戦車戦でハッチや砲塔部分を上から攻撃する想定の装備じゃね。

        因みに現代戦車の砲弾の多くは発砲時に装薬部分は燃え尽きて無くなるので、発砲後に残るのは>>41の写真だと端っこの金色部分だけで普通の銃弾みたいな形の薬莢が残ることは無い。

        ザクバズーカはもともと核弾頭を打ち出すことを前提に設計されてるからある意味原子爆弾であってるな
        ザクマシンガンはイグルー2の描写だと戦車の主砲並みの爆風で歩兵が吹き飛んでる

        戦車は相対的に上からの攻撃に弱いってのが宇宙世紀にも適用できるならだけど

        ※3
        ザクマシンガンの排莢機構がザク本体の弱点になるわけじゃないし、お高く燃焼コントロールも難しくデリケートな焼尽薬莢なんて使わず、ガシガシ量産できて転がしておける通常薬莢で問題ないと思われ。
        焼尽薬莢でもどのみち弾底部の排莢が必要だしね。ゴミの大きさの違いしかないから、戦車みたいに車内に撃ちガラため込むわけでもないザクは高コストの弾薬を使うメリットがない・・・

        120mmザクマシンガンは宇宙空間での運用を前提とした低圧砲（反動が極力抑えられるので機動性を損なわない）とされることが多いので、一桁違うのはあり得ない。
        ただ、低圧砲は成型炸薬弾の運用に適している上に、射点が高いというMS携帯火器の特性上トップアタックを狙いやすいので、戦車なんかの装軌・装輪車両に対する貫徹力は全く問題はないと思う。

        対艦攻撃に核弾頭は一度も使ってないよ
        あれはコロニー(か、せいぜい敵基地)用
        だって鹵獲どころか近づくことさえ厳しくなるし威力過剰すぎる上迎撃のリスクまである

        速射低反動砲だから「ザクバズーカ」の口径を減らして弾数を増やしたようなもんだと思う。弾もHEATかHESHで貫通力は複合装甲や空間装甲相手には殆ど無いけどバカスカ当てたら衝撃で内部が剥離したり中の人がボコボコになったりはする。
        考えたらMS等のMI炉搭載機がバイタルパート抜かれて派手に大爆発してたら核爆発してる筈で、実際には推進剤が燃えて中破ぐらいで行動不能になってるMSや戦車が多いんかもしれない。死んだと思ってたらちゃっかり生きてたりとか。
        だからアムロのビームライフルは必死必殺の恐怖だろうね。

        こんなの連射出来るのかよ！
        という反応が本当に多いけど銃口初速があまりにも遅すぎる。
        初速が遅くて有名なコルトガバメント（拳銃）より遅い。
        もはや銃の形をした低圧投射機でバラまいてるようなもので
        真面目に考えたら61式の装甲なんて絶対抜けないどころか
        アウトレンジから瞬殺される。
