    アニメで強さ判断するさじ加減は難しい

        劇中での活躍と裏腹に後付けで弱体化させられた珍しいパターン

        対高コスト機としては傑作。しかし軍を形成する兵器としては評価できない。何だろう爆弾抱えて艦船に突っ込んだ特攻機、もしくは敵の幹部を狙った末端の鉄砲玉的な存在？？
        対WB隊としては良い機体だけどそもそもあんな最先端の艦と機体が単独でうろついている状況と言うのが本来あり得ないしね。量産したのは各戦場に高コストなガンダムが現れると思ってたら低コストなジムばかりで宛てが外れたのかな。

        地上専で宇宙用に換装できないし、地上でもジャングルとか局地戦に強いかって言うと、ヒートロッドが邪魔でザクほどではないし水中は論外だし砂漠とか平地だとドムに劣る・・・地上専にした割りにこの戦闘なら！って強みがなくてほぼ同時期のズゴックみたいに腕ビームとか無くて指バルカンなのがダメなとこ。後、接近戦特化すぎて遭遇戦以外だと射程外からジムに虐殺されそうなのでポンコツ扱いもしゃーない

        MS戦は機動歩兵による白兵戦・制圧戦だと思うんだが、グフは対人＆接近戦専門もしくは格闘家？
        誰かをピンポイントで倒したい時（援護ありき？）は使えるけど部隊のメインにはなれないみたいな

        ドダイとの連携が前提の時点で扱える所なんて限られてる
        使い難いと言われ続けたので固定装備外してザクの武器を装備したB型やグフカスタムまで出てきて、ドムが完成しザク2F2型が企画された時点で完全に価値無し

        普通に傑作機だった、ただ技術発展が異常な速度だった
        まさかMS持ってない連邦が戦艦の主砲と戦車主砲120mmを全く受け付けない盾を持ち歩くMSを量産するなんて夢にも思わなかった
        ジオンも大概だが母体のガンダムがあったとはいえジムの開発まで3ヶ月で作る連邦の技術もかなりおかしい

        開発系譜的には先なんだけどお話的には後から出てきた
        陸戦高機動型ザクのせいでますます使い勝手の悪い子感が際立つという
