これと戦わされる対ザク用自走砲（オープントップ）はMS投入までの時間稼ぎにしても惨過ぎる

ガンタンク以前の地上兵器でザクに対抗しえるのって、意外と「ファンファン」かもしれん。
機動性で上回り、常にザクより高く飛べるってのは有利だよな。
マゼラやドップに狙い撃ちされるけどなｗ

ギレンの構想では短期決戦の予定だったから最初期に優位に立つためにザク量産したものの
使えないゴミが増えた、結局お荷物になってしまった、みたいな哀れな印象もあるな。
連邦のジムとかはまだジャブロー降下戦まで量産されてないはずだから
ザクの脅威になり得る戦力は無かったはずなんだが・・・案外地上じゃ弱かったのかもね。
徳光のマンガじゃないが歩兵のバズーカで足のジョイントやられたらお終いだしな。
宇宙でも戦艦の火力には敵わないから予知能力で回避能力の高いニュータイプが尊ばれたわけだし。

結局の所、数で劣る上に侵攻戦、ハルダウンして待ち構える61式やトーチカ等をザクで一つづつ潰していかなければならないからね。ザクやドム抜きでの陸戦は連邦に質も量も及ばないし、GM量産された時点で陣取り合戦はかなり不利
