アニメ本編だと明らかにバルカン用の穴付いてないし使ってもないから装備として存在してないと思う
ゲームとかだとプラモみたいに普通にバルカン用の穴あってそこから撃ってるけど

Mk-2のバルカンポッドみたいな扱いならともかく設定とアニメとで差があるのは難しいな…

ＭＧのインストではハイメガキャノンを撃つたびに頭部のセンサー類が破損し、
そのたびに頭部のパーツを交換していると説明されていた。
原作版イングラム２号機の頭部と同じ理由でバージョンアップされている。
