そもそもMSは連邦の方が後追いだし
アニメ準拠ならジャブローまでMS自体配備してないからな
ちなみにファースト以降の連邦は水泳部あるぞ

ジオン水泳部という血脈があるので宇宙世紀はもちろん大抵のアナザー作品にも水中用もしくは水陸両用の機体が出てはくる
ただし地球vs宇宙という構図の都合上制海権が重要視されにくいしどうせ最終的には宇宙で決戦とかなのでトータルで見ると活躍は地味になりがち
