ジムも全機体がビームスプレーガンってわけでもなくマシンガン装備の機体もいただろうからそういうのが相手なら装甲も頼れるかもしれないからドム有利かもしれない

ファーストアニメ通して見てるとグフがちょっと経ったらザクと同じやられ役ポジに行ってドムもちょっと経ったらやられ役ポジに居るみたいな印象が残る

地上では確かにホバーのおかげで更に装甲の分ジムより有利だけど、光学センサーの有効範囲とMSに施せる程度の装甲なら一撃必殺なビーム兵器が標準装備なぶん総合力ではジムが上になる

初代といい0083といい08小隊といい戦記といいジムが上なイメージが全く無いんだが
スペックも統計でドムの方が上だしジャイアントバズでこっちも一撃必殺出来るしザクマシンガンも使える更に拡散ビーム砲にグレネードだってある

そういやホバーってザクってかMSの２足歩行による展開の遅さが不味いってんで出てきた
割と革命的な発明だと思うんだけど
連邦側はなんかないの？
そこカバーするよりSFS普及が早かったとか？
いやそれもジオンが先だし連邦側には必要がない発想？

ジムが弱く見えるのは劇中でやられる場面ばっかり映っていたのと大体ゲームのせい
もしゲーム内でジムをゲルググ並みの性能にするとプレイヤーが何も考えなくてもクリアできちゃう
PS時代のGジェネのマップで考えてみると分かりやすい

重装甲とか言ってるけど、ぶっちゃけドムはフレームがゴツいだけで装甲は大した事無いぞ

ドムの重量は62.6t、ホバーからロケットに変えただけのリックドムは重量が43.8t。
20tも減量してジム並(41.2t)になってる。コレで装甲が厚いですは無理がある

ジムはビーム兵器があるから、とよく言われるけど、ビームスプレーガンってそんなに強いのか？という疑問がある。
要塞内部とか接近戦になりやすい戦場以外では、リックドムの方が有利だったんじゃないかな。
実際、劇中でリックドムを倒しているジムはビームサーベルで対抗してるし。
まあ、ジムコマンドとか、ジムスナイパーとかの高性能版ジムは除いて。

リックドムはドムの転用による開発期間の短さが採用に繋がったが
それゆえに直線番長な仕上がりでロールアウトするしかなかった
一撃離脱とジャイアントバスの組み合わせによる対艦戦は要求以上の出来だが
肝心の対MS戦においては開発当初から対MS戦を意識したGMに対しては分が悪かった
