開発時期からすると鹵獲されたザクが仮想敵だったのかな
ガチの白兵戦用のガンダムとチャンバラできると考えたら、結構なハイエンド機に思えてきた

普段は掌内にスライド収納されてるインナーバレルが射撃時に指を伸ばすとその内部にスライド移動すれば射撃には支障無いと思う。
そんな空洞の指が武器を持てるというのは、ちょっとスゴいかもしれんけど、不可能な技術ではなかろう。

ザクから宇宙用の機能を排除してリソースをスペック向上に回した純陸戦型の素体

ザクと同じ武器が使えるから火力は問題ないし宇宙用をザクの後期型の代わりに作っても良かったのでは

ザクを地上用に再設計した機体を、また宇宙用に設計しなおす二度手間よりは
素直に元のザクを改良した方が早いわな…

ゲームでも作中でもそうだけど陸宙両用を陸専に再設計したって割にそこまで機体性能が上がった気がしない…諸々考えてもザクを普通に強化した方が総合力上では無かろうか…

例えば防塵性がよくなり信頼性や整備性向上とか、兵器としては重要な改良なんだけど
こういう部分はアニメやゲームの「強さ」としてはあまり反映されんからなぁ
その辺はガンダムに限らず、現実の兵器を扱う作品でも同じよ
