まあサイコミュ積んどけばとりあえずパイロット次第でオーラ出せるからな
百式のビームもサイコフィールド的なもので弾いたと考えておけば納得できる

そもそも「機体をサイコミュ制御」ってのが映像向きの設定じゃないからな
サイコのようにキャラや物語にガッツリ噛んでくる要素にでもしないと活かし切れない
ツッコミどころ多数でも絵的に映えるユニコの全身変形を考案したカトキって凄いんやなって
