水泳部に水冷式でメガ粒子砲とかつけてるあたり、冷却系でつまずいたんじゃないかなと

そこらへんあやふやなんだよ
ただガンダムとガンキャノンのビームライフルは同じ出力だけど粒子の収束率が違うのでガンキャノンの方が射程が長いという設定がある

マンガネタなら連邦のNT研究所の少年兵が減退ギリギリの距離からリック・ドムにビームライフル当ててダメージは無かったけど

飛距離はともかく精密射撃なんて弾そのものに誘導能力でも無いと不可能じゃね？
まぁ必要な高度(120km以上＝12万m以上)からすると射程も常識外れにでかいんだが

「あのサイズで戦艦の主砲並みの威力、そして軽量（たかがＭＳの腕で振り回せる）。
　せや、マゼランに熱核融合炉増設して、艦全体にビームライフル持ったジムの腕つければ無敵じゃーんｗ」
ワイもそう思う。動力炉直結だからエネルギー切れないし。
対空砲要員まわせば、いくらでも射撃手いるし。
ボールのパイロット回せば、いくらでも・・・以下同文。

前提が間違ってる
ミノフスキー粒子でレーダーが効かないから戦艦の遠距離射撃じゃ運任せでまず当たらん
機動力のあるMSが必中の近距離で高火力のビーム兵器を撃つから恐ろしいんだよ

まあ単純に比較できるものではないけど、WW２時代に当てはめると重戦車に35.6～41㎝砲を積むようなもんだからな
MSが片手で運用できるサイズに戦艦の主砲を収めることができたってことなんだけど、でもこれってビームライフルの技術を逆に戦闘艦の主砲に応用したらとんでもないことになりそう

忘れられがちだけど　ビームライフルは中距離までは戦艦並みの威力が出せる（一撃で装甲破壊が可能）であって　距離が長くなると急激に威力が減衰するはず　本当に戦艦と同じ威力＆射程のＭＳ武器は百式のメガバズくらい

そもそも、本当にレーザーなのか疑問。
本当にレーザの類のものなら、光なので光速に近く回避不可。最強兵器になる。
単なるエネルギー弾の類なら、アニメの描写のいくつかは説明がつく。
しかも、真空の宇宙では光の軌跡は見えないはず。なにか散乱体でもまかれているのか。
それがミノフスキー粒子だとしたら、ガンダム世界の物理はミノフスキー粒子工学の世界だな。

色々答えると
ジオンと連邦の「ビーム技術」、特にメガ粒子を貯めるエネルギーCAPの差は10年開いている。連邦軍の大艦巨砲主義はこの技術力の自信の現れ。それを打ち破ったのがMS。MSに関してはジオンが10年進んでいたとされる。Zの時代などで連邦軍の機体がジオンの技術を使ってたりする。と言うかジムなどは一年戦争後半からモノアイ技術を使ってたりする。
宇宙世紀のビームはある程度の濃度になると立体格子構造つくるミノフスキー粒子を圧縮してメガ粒子としたものを加速して撃ち出している。メガ粒子はエネルギー変換効率が高く、物体に直撃すると運動エネルギーをも熱エネルギーに変換し対象を破壊する。核より安く高威力で制御が簡単でピンポイントだから普及した。なのでレーザーではない。文献にもよるが亜光速ともされてるが、VSBRの様に制御が効く分もう少し遅いかと。

だからガンダムはビームライフル装備とバズーカ装備のローテーションで出撃してた

戦艦はジェネレータ直結式でメガ粒子の素になるミノフスキー粒子も核融合炉から発生するから無限に撃てる

そもそもMSが前面に出て宇宙艦は後方で指揮と援護する必要があるんだからGMに使うリソースを減らしてまで艦船だけを強化しても意味ないだろ

オリジンでは同じ距離で撃ち合って、マゼランサラミスは損害なし。ムサイはチーズ状態だったな。
よく比較で出されるジェガンの画像だけど、機体を完全に保護する役目は全うしてる訳だからすごい事なんだよな。
てかこれフェイズシフト装甲レベルの離れ業をコーティングしただけの板っ切れでやってのけてるのが理解の範疇外すぎる・・・
