このまま英語にするとGUNDOMになるけどガンドムと誤読されるから、アナハイムの誰かがGUNDAMと綴りを変えたんだろう

ガンボーイ+フリーダムファイターでガンダムってとこまで煮詰まってからの話かは判らんが
恐らくはクローバーが丸投げしてた玩具製造を請け負ってた縁でだと思うが何故か
企画段階でタカラの社員が混じってて、そいつが当時流行ってた「う～んマンダム」から
もじって命名したという話。確かもう正式に事実として認められてるはずだが
そうなると冨野の命名ですらないという事になってしまうな。
大和田秀樹の漫画は嘘の塊としてもやっぱ富野が名付けた事にして欲しいもんだ
