    今の連邦高官やジオンは、その改ざん内容なんか知らん。

        グリプス戦役あたりまでは、スペースノイドを焚き付ける材料として
        それなりに効力あったんだけど、ユニコーンの時代になると
        既にスペースノイドもそれなりの権力を持ってるから
        今更それを振りかざして行動を起こす必要が無くなってた
        けど誰も中身を知らないから、なんか凄いやつがあるらしいぞ！って皆で大騒ぎしてた

        最初は条文消すために、現連邦に繋がる一派がラプラスコロニーを首相その他巻き込んで消した事実そのものが、ラプラスの箱の効果。
        後に条文と関係ないところでジオン・ダイクンのニュータイプ論が条文と合致し、更に人類全滅手前の戦争に発展したことで、条文自体が呪いと化した。

        ジオンのコロニー落としから始まる一連の戦争が無ければただのスキャンダルで終わった
        なんと言うかあれらの悲劇があったからこそ「最初から箱を公開してればあそこまでの悲劇にならなかったのでは？」というIfが成り立ち、それがあの時代の地球・宇宙両方からの連邦批判、ジオン協調につながると考えられるからではなかろうか

        内容に関してはもうこの時代になってはほぼ意味のない代物

        しかし、コロニー落として人類の半数を殺した後にまだジオンを支持する民衆がいるのが理解できん。

        初期の危機感をもって条文を改定した連邦のお偉いさん方は失脚や体制が揺らぐ内容だったけど
        揺すられている連邦サイドは、どういった内容で財団に揺すられているかが形骸化していって
        箱を持ってる財団に逆らうと連邦の立場が危うくなるっていう暗黙のルールだけが引き継がれていった。

        それがNTが現れてたことによって話が変わった

        結局みんながみんな中身を知らないまま、アレはやばいものだとおそれて回った
        連邦も一部しか中身を知らないから慎重になる
        ジオンは連邦がそこまで慎重になるなら凄いものだと思う
        中身を知ってる管理してる人間もそこから得られる利益があるから大事にしまい込む
