士官学校卒業後部隊配属、すぐに幹部初級課程入校、修了後部隊勤務(少尉→中尉、付幹部or小隊長)、
幹部上級課程入校、修了後部隊勤務(中尉→大尉、大隊幕僚→中隊長)、
幹部技術課程入校(試験有り、大尉)、修了後実験部隊に配属(ここで適性試験を受けてテストパイロット)

このくらいが妥当だけどガンダム世界は戦争で人口が激減してるから、
「使えそうなのをとりあえずやらせてみる」なんだろうと推測

最近の宇宙世紀の詰め込みっぷりから見るに、一年戦争終結後〜デラーズ紛争までの三年がすっげー余裕あるように見えてしまう。
近いうちにこの三年間で、また３回ぐらい紛争起きて10機ぐらいガンダム生まれてそう。

人口激減してるし、モビルスーツ開発から間も無いし、そのくせ一年戦争だけで双方めちゃくちゃな数と種類を量産してるので、テストパイロットがいくらいても足りない状況かもしれん。

なんなら新規パイロットみんなテストパイロット扱いで、その都度、有象無象の試作機を渡してもおかしく無いくらい、試作機やら少数生産ばっかりやってるイメージ。

作画がガンダムシリーズの中でも屈指の出来だから傑作扱いされてるけど、内容は突っ込みどころの多い作品だからねこれ。
02の奪取やヒロインの人間性、シーマの思惑の説明不足や終盤のデンドロビウムとαアジール戦の物足りなさ。
あとモンシアみたいなク.ズキャラもな。

ご都合展開といえばそれまでだが、テスト機を盗まれるという赤っ恥を拡めないために当事者ばかりに最低限の補充を足してそのまま行かせた隠密作戦で、ヒヨッコのウラキやキースもメキメキ成長を見せた
実戦に勝る経験はないとも言いますし、平和ボケの下で訓練してるペーペーの中では優秀な二人

単艦＆ＭＳ２個小隊であれだけ短期間に転戦・連戦してるから、アルビオン隊の連中はパイロットも整備士も他のクルーも経験値凄いだろうな
コウとか、もう教官とか教導隊イケるレベルじゃねーかと
まあ、あのまま軍に残ったら、多分一生窓際だと思うけど…

0083はファーストに比べれば全然過酷ではないな
士官学校を出てもいない学生が数人と民間人（戦えるのは殆ど子供）のみで運用（数千から数百人の戦えない避難民を抱えてる）
延々と追われ続けて激戦区で戦いっぱなし（サイド7からジャブローまで一月半）
使える武器は開発中のテスト品ばかりであてにならないマニュアルしかない
そもそも連邦はMSなんか運用した事がなく側の実戦投入
