複数のカメラで視界は確保してるとしても、それはただ外が見えるってだけ。
戦闘用の兵器なんだから、可視光に加えてサーモ、赤外線、レンジファインダーなど射撃や観測に必要なあらゆる光学装置が頭部のメインカメラに集約されているはず。

それが破壊されたら兵器としては戦闘不能で、撤退するしかない。ニュータイプでもなければね

カメラは機体にもよるが、腹にも足にもある。
後年の全周天モニター搭載機になると、足の裏にまでカメラやセンサー類があったりするぞ。
Ｇ-02の場合、天パはもはや目で見てないから、むしろ視界に頼らないほうが集中出来て、強いまでありうる。

あの瞬間のアムロは戦場のど真ん中で視覚を潰されても「たかが」って切り捨てられるくらいに極まってたという話
　
以降の作品みたいなサイコミュ兵器の共鳴効果みたいなの無しでホワイトベースのメンツに思考とばしてたりするし、ア・バオア・アムロは個人の能力としてはカミーユ以上にキてた気がする

ブルーインパルスの連中なんかだと視界ゼロでアクロバットやれるけど（誰もみえないから意味ないけど

作劇的には、ガンダムもただの戦闘機械、道具だ、って言うキャラはがしの意味がある、仲間でも何でもないただの機械だっていうね、フルオートのラストシューティングもそう
ガンダムに乗って船出したアムロとは正反対の描写じゃないかな
軍の機密持ち逃げ、って実際には大変な事だけど、観てる少年少女にとってはアムロ＝ガンダムなので全然不自然じゃない、でも最終回にはそれをアムロ自らぶっ壊す
