大河原邦男がガンダムエースのために描いたプロトタイプジムキャノンだとさ

設定としては大昔からある機体よ
ガンキャノンの仕様そのままジムに乗せたらバランス最悪で転倒しまくったから
足回り強化してキャノン一つに減らしてジムキャノンになったっていう

実際完成後の評価は失敗作とまでは言わないけど
開発計画時に期待してた出来からは物足りないという評価になっちゃって
結局大慌てで量産型ガンキャノン設計し直した

30年以上前のMSVに今更だけど
まず頭で描いただけでバランスでやばくて
試しにシミュレーションしたらやっぱり転んで
最初からペーパープラン以前の問題でした
シミュレーションすら時間の無駄でした
ってなるはずだよね
.
そんなのジオンじゃないんだからわかるよね!

でもマガジン式なので実質弾数は多くなる。
しかし自分では交換できないので、僚機に換えてもらうところが可愛い。

アメリカも冷戦期から現在で作っては計画破棄ってパターンが多くて…戦闘用ステルスヘリなんか夢があったけど結局数兆円使って計画そのものが流れたし…推進派の将軍が退役した直後に破棄派の将軍が計画に付けばそうなるわな。

ガンキャノンの手足でようやっと安定して撃てる様なキャノンなのに量産だからって細く削ってどうすんのよ。そりゃ堪えきれずにすっ転ぶだろ
