種系は最初からプラモ主導みたいなところがあるから
割と早い段階からアレンジ好き勝手するぜみたいな方向性だった

むしろ最初の300円シリーズからしてガワラの設定画とは差異があった（諸々の事情で）

劇中の作画再現はロボ魂とかコレクターズの商品で
劇中のイメージ拾いつつも最大公約数的なその次代のプレーンをお出しするのが1/144ガンプラってイメージだ
MGとかでかいガンプラはその時々でガッツリアレンジ入ったりするから共通イメージみたいなのはあまりない

実際ROBOT魂ANIMEの好評っぷりを観ると
作中を意識した造形の理解は大事だと思うよ…
そういう商品が出て一定以上の評価を受けてるんだからそれを否定したらダメでしょ

プラモに関していえば新しくなるにつれて可動だけが良くなってデザインを元デザに近付けないないの何でと思ったことはある。
旧デザインで今の可動って需要ないんかな。

最近の作品ならともかく昔のアニメのダサさをわざわざ忠実に作り込む意味を感じない
当時のアニメスタッフだって技術さえあればプラモアレンジみたいなかっこいいやつやりたかったろ

ストライクはRMとHGCEで側頭部のトンガリが完全に無くなって個性が死んだのが割と致命的
旧HGや1/100みたいなシルエットの頭に戻して…

メタルビルドやMGの種はアレンジマシマシで統一されてるからそれでいい
メタロボやHGCEで劇中イメージの造形もあるし差別化出来ていいと思うよ

絵は空間歪ませて見せつけるポーズとれるけど、それを立体物で再現するの厳しいし、サンライズパースだって再現ほとんどできないし

そもそもの話アレンジが嫌に対する自分で作れがおかしいんだよ
誰しもがそんなテクニックも時間も環境も満足にあるわけでない、ない奴は公式から安定した完成度で出る物を買うしかないわけだよ
愛でどうにかなるなら初めから吠える奴なんかいねーよw
大型でそもそものコンセプトからアレンジ強めのものを前提としてる現行の1/100スケール以上の物はともかくHGで百式みたいなアレンジが強すぎるのが出たらそりゃオーソドックスな物が求める声もあって当然だろ？それを頭ごなしに自分で作れよは阿呆としか
設定画と同じ物をとか言ってる奴はどうかと思うけどな

種はそもそも重田作画のイメージが強すぎてガワラ絵を基準に立体化すること自体あまり望まれてないから割と自由にアレンジしても許されてるな
現状フリーダムで決定版扱いされてるのが重田監修のメタルビルドC2だし

あまり言いすぎるとアレだけども、そもそもガワラさんの決定稿＝公式ってレベルじゃないしね、種系MSは。
それこそ種ポーズなんてのもあるくらいで、アレくらい劇中見栄えしないとそもそも何か違う感は拭えないって。
ただ、メタルビルドレベルでアレンジされるとなんかなぁってなるけどね。

今見ても各部のサイズがチグハグだったりするし、レールガン周りのギミックはゴミとしか言いようがないが
パーツ毎の造形はガワラ設定画に近いものがあるので設定画再現する為の素材としては今考えれば悪くないもんかなと思う

ただ単純にガワラ設定画と劇中の重田チーフ作監準拠の絵が乖離し過ぎてるのでアニメのが欲しかった当時のユーザーから不満噴出するのは仕方がない事よ…

個人的にはMETAL ROBOT魂がアニメ版としては決定版だな
顔の立体感とか各部の小気味いいカクカクさも重田作画のそれ過ぎてたまらん

しかしROBOT魂の種シリーズは旧ロボ魂フリーダム以降は重田監修無しなのにアレなのが地味に凄い

ザクとかガンダムのフンドシ部分はまさにその通りだと思う。
なんだけど、全体のプロポーション？やたら細身になったり小顔で頭身上げたりは可動には関係ないから、そこは元のバランスで出すプラモがあってもいいんじゃないかなあと。

MGのSEEDの方向性がリマスターで発売されたあたりから変わったのはわかるんだけどちょっとアレンジが効きすぎだと思う
特にザクウォーリアは今まで出た運命系のMGがアニメスタイルよりなのにこいつだけメカメカしいフォルムだから違和感がすごい。

ストライクがガワラ感ないとか当たり前やん。大河原氏デザインじゃないんだから。
SEED初期のガンダム5機は表向き大河原氏がデザインしたってことになってるだけ。
氏の引き出しでストライクとかブリッツみたいなデザインが生まれるわけがない。
なのでガワラに寄せないのが正解、ガノタおじさんなら元デザイナーくらい見てわかるだろ。

動いてるからなんとかカッコいい……かな？みたいな機体もいるし、なんなら作り手にもプラモは作るけどアニメは見てない勢もいる。ロボット魂はほぼ全てがアニメファンだと推定できるけど、ガンプラはプラモファンとアニメファンの折衷なんだから話が違うんだわ。

立体物としてカッコいいデザインとアニメを再現した動かないなら微妙と言えるデザインなら、両方を取り込める前者を優先するのは当然でしょ。
